Schedule:
9:15 Leave school
10:30 Doors open to theater.
11:00 Play
1:15 Lunch
2:15 Leave SF
3:30ish return to SL Bart.

§  Cost – $20. We don’t want any student to miss a field trip because of financial hardship; if this is the case, please talk to Mrs. Farley.

This is a first-come, first-serve field trip. 70 students will be allowed to go.

All money and the form is due to Mrs. Farley by Friday, January 24th

Animation Workshop for Girls

From 10 AM to 3 PM on Sunday, January 19th, we’re offering an animation workshop at our home, the Department of Make Believe in Oakland! Young women & non-binary youth ages 12-18 will spend the day learning all things animation, including paint-on-glass, claymation, pixelation, puppetry and take-home flipbooks. Participants will walk away with more skills in their toolbox so they can bring anything to life – with just a smartphone, camera or something as simple as a pen! Below is the flyer, & registration and more info can be found here.

Chabot Film Festival Submissions Open

Chabot will be hosting a Film Festival in April and are inviting local high schools to submit works. The categories and details are listed below.

Submission Requirements: All submissions must be copyright cleared. Your film or animation cannot include material that you do not own or have permission to use. Deadline February 29, 2020.
